In my head, I keep thinking "so much for 'sunny' San Diego." My boyfriend, Roger, and I went the last few days of April. Neither of us have been before, despite the city being relatively close and easy to get to for a short vacation. Prior to the trip, I would day-dream of scorching temperatures and laying around on the beach for hours. As soon as we arrived, I quickly realized those were grand delusions. San Diego's sky was overcast for almost the whole duration of the trip.
However, San Diego was still rad. The city was friendly. There was plenty to see and do. I think we barely touched the surface. And there was a lot of good food to be had. Here is a handful of my favorite photos from the trip. I've seemed to misplace some of my photos from Coronado, but here are the locations in this photo set: the San Diego Zoo, Torrey Pines State Park, and Wayward Public.
